- with an Alternative Energy Products Joint Venture with a manufacturing partner in Tennessee (2009-Present). The firm created for the Joint Venture is called Outpost Solar, LLC. Several modular and scalable solar energy products, including solar/PV power system products intended for both isolated grid and grid-tie applications, have been designed and prototyped with fully-sized working models manufactured. Products developed to date include solar generators for military (including armored) and government applications, and Parking Area Solar Arrays for power generation and/or hybrid/electric vehicle plug-in infrastructure applications. The firm also has a dealership agreement with one of the largest solar products wholesalers in the world. Through partnership with a leading roofing materials manufacturer, roofing materials with integral thin film, fully-adhered, lightweight, flexible Photovoltaic (PV) cells are also available. Marketing efforts have begun with several significant orders, including projects involving large scale adaptation or application of the available products nearing fruition.
